Informations

Here you will find all the information regarding the submission of your audio files for mastering and mixing (at the bottom of the page), as well as other more general information.

Mixing

Headroom

Be careful not to clip at 0 dBFS. Also, make sure to check value of the "true peak."

Bus processing

In case of processing on the stems or the master bus, please send me both a version with and a version without these treatments (including the limiter).

Final mixing

If you are not completely satisfied with the mixing, don't hesitate to opt for stem mastering to ensure the most optimal result. The mastering engineer will have more flexibility to make adjustments.

Files

Format

Your audio files should be sent in WAVE or AIFF format.

Resolution

Export your mix at a minimum resolution of 24 bits.

Sampling

Export your mix at the same sample rate used during mixing.

Distribution

Listening supports

Depending on the listening medium (CD, Vinyl, or streaming), the mastering of the track will require specific treatment (in terms of frequency range and dynamics). This is why it is important to let me know the medium or mediums you want for your music.

Listening systems

Please specify the commercial destination of your track (club, individual listening, hi-fi listening, etc.). This way, the frequency and dynamic processing can be tailored to achieve the best possible result.

Reference

If possible, please provide one or more reference tracks that are similar to the result you desire. You can also send visuals that inspire your musical universe.

The mixing is done using the raw, untreated audio files of your tracks. However, you can send me the tracks with any creative effects you wish to keep, in addition to their untreated versions, so I can better match the desired effect. Additionally, I recommend sending me a consolidated version of all your audio tracks, keeping the creative effects intact.

Please send your files in WAVE or AIFF format, with a resolution of 24 bits and a sample rate between 44.1 kHz and 96 kHz. Don't forget to label each audio file with the track name and organize the tracks by category (vocals, drums, etc.) when sending.
