Here you will find all the information regarding sending your audio files for mastering and your *free mastering, as well as other more general information.
Mixing
Headroom
Keep on average between -1 and -6 dB of headroom between the 0dBFS and your highest peak.
Bus processing
In case of processing on the stem or bus master, send me a version with and a version without these treatments.
Final mixing
Send your mix if you are completely satisfied with the result because the mastering will not be able to fix everything. Don't hesitate to opt for a stem mastering to ensure the most optimal result. The mastering engineer will then have more possibilities for maneuvers.
Files
Format
Your audio files must be sent in WAVE or AIFF format
Resolution
Export your mix at a 24 bit resolution minimum.
Sampling
Export at the same sample rate used during mixing.
Distribution
Listening supports
Depending on the listening medium (CD, Vinyl or streaming) the mastering of the songs must benefit from specific treatment (in terms of frequency range and dynamics). This is why it is important to tell me the support(s) you want for your music.
Listening systems
Tell me the commercial destination of your songs (club, individual listening, hi-fi listening, etc.). In fact, the frequency and dynamic processing will be personalized in order to achieve the best possible result.

Code ISRC
For CD mastering, sending ISRC code is necessary. How to obtain your ISRC codes.
Infos projet
Informations about the project : name of the group or artist, name of the album / EP / project, song titles and desired order.
Fade in fade out
Example of the audio file or explanation of all the desired fade ins and fade outs.
Deliveries
Send files
You can send me your files by Wetransfer to my email address "alexandre.duno@grandhotelmastering.com", remember to order them and name them.
File delivery
I will send you your command by Wetransfer to your email in 24 bits 96 kHz (high resolution), 16 bits 44.1 kHz (CD quality) and 320 kbps mp3. Let me know any other specific requests.
*For the free mastering offer, 3/4 of the title will be sent to you.
Delivery time
Delivery times are generally between 1 and 4 days for mastering services. Let me know if you have a deadline.
Process
Communication
I will contact you during the mastering work if necessary or will communicate to you the progress of the work as well as samples of your titles during processing to verify that the direction taken suits you.
Recall
There are two free edits for standard masterings and three for premium masterings and mixings. These must remain reasonable as far as possible.
Live session
You can assist to the mastering or mixing session of your titles. Contact me before scheduling an appointment. It takes on average an hour per piece for mastering and contact me to fixe the duration of a mixing session.
Payment
Estimate
Contact me to discuss your project, estimate the time needed to complete it so that I can send you a quote.
Regulations
Payments are made by transfer before ordering. All information will be communicated on your quote. You will then receive your invoice by email. For on-site sessions a deposit of 20% must be paid in advance if you wish to pay the addition directly by credit card on the day of the session.
